Health Care '09 - We Can't Wait

ASASP joined thousands who rallied and lobbied Congress in Washington, DC on June 25.  Over 10,000 voices chanted.

"We need real health care reform in 2009 and we can't wait."

The 90+ temperature of the day did not daunt the determined spirits of the thousands insisting on health care reform.  Many spoke of personal health care nightmares - terrifying awakenings.  Physicians sporting white coats stood in solidarity with their patients against non-medical personnel telling them what their patients need.

       So many wore their thoughts!

After rousing speeches from workers, union leaders, small business owners, doctors and political leaders, thousands of the fired-up activists marched on the Capitol to meet with their elected representatives to demand health care reform.
