           invited Maryland and District elected politicians and officials to meet and greet its affiliates.   On Monday, February 2, 2009, MDFSAS  held its 5th legisative reception in Annapolis as an opportunity for guests to meet with Union leaders from MDFSAS affiliates -- Calvert, Howard, Prince Georges and Queen Anne's Counties, Baltimore City and Washington, DC.  The reception was well attended.
